Hush! Watch out, watch out, people, do watch out!
Loadsa wicked witches on brooms are flying about!
If you’re not wary, chary; a bit unprepared, my friend,
Evil spells will hit – aargh, that could be your end!
Withered old crones jet out with spell books perched upon their brooms,
Packed with sinister, witchy designs – yikes, the big danger looms!
A coven is toiling, all witches a-busy,
Cooking rats, a newt and a juicy, fat lizzie!
Cauldrons hot up a-bubbling and boiling, with..
Spiders, scorpions, snakes – aye, ‘tis no myth!
Meanwhile, spooks, ghouls, draculas and ghosties,
Tootle hither-thither, helter-skelter, tipple-tail with ease!
Jack-o-lanterns, beam their evil grins,
Wispy cobwebs bait flies, fleas ‘n even vermins!
Skeletons rattle, vampire bats go a-screeching,
Chains jangle, jet black ravens go a-shrieking!
Shouts of “Trick or treat!” echo all around,
As excited children frolic in every ground!
Yes, indeed, folks, ‘tis a night to remember,
For Halloween comes just once – in every October!
